Hello! I hope you are having a great day browsing the internet...wasting time :) haha well anyways, welcome to my Blog! In this world there are some pretty scary and saddening things going on(go and turn on the news and you can see all of the calamities and cruelty of mankind) but I know there is still good! Sometimes it feels like there will never be a turning point in our lives and that it will always be the same mundane experiences everyday and that no one cares about your life. Or that God does not exist because who would just let all of these horrible things happen. Right? No. That is wrong. You are a child of God. God is the supreme creator of this universe who has all power and who is very aware of us and cares for us. He loves you and wants you to have joy. He will not take away our agency–our right to choose for ourselves– and He suffers when He sees us in pain. Sometimes, we have to leap unimaginable lengths and endure the most awful tribulations to receive the most joy in the long run. I know it will be okay in the end and that we can have everlasting happiness. I know this is possible because of Jesus Christ.
I love that video because it explains what Jesus Christ did for us. He sacrificed His life to save ours and become our Savior. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He is your Savior. He is the Savior of everyone who has ever lived on this earth and who will yet live on this earth. He is a real person who followed God's plan. He was a perfect man who never sinned.
In this life, we feel loneliness at times and we need someone to turn to. Christ is the one we can turn to. He gave His life for us so that we can live again. After some time we will be resurrected. Restored to how we are now. We will be restored; every part of us. All the good thoughts and intentions and any bad thoughts or intentions we have. Through Christ we can erase our sins with repentance. We can become better and have more joy. We might not forget what we did, but as we say sorry, make our wrongs right, and ask Christ through prayer to forgive us, I know that we can be forgiven.
Because He was perfect, He gave his life to save us from the separation we experience in this life from God, our Heavenly Father. He died through crucifixion, and rose again three days later. He knows and loves you perfectly. He will as it says in St. John 14:18 that "[He] will not leave you comfortless..." Christ knows your circumstance and He knows what you go through. He suffered for your sins and all your ailments. He knows how it feels to be in your position and He has seen your potential. All He asks is to "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."(Matt 11.28) He is our friend and wants the best for us. I know He is real. If you have any challenges you can turn to Him. Ask God in prayer to have Christ's healing power of the Atonement comfort you. Your prayer may not be answered or comfort be given in the time that you want it to be received but no matter what He will answer. Our time is not God's time. But from experience I give you my witness that He will answer. You are not forsaken or forgotten. I know Christ lives and I believe in Him.
